Dr. Darci Harland, Riley College of Education and Leadership: My name is Dr. Darcy Harland, and I work in the Richard W Riley College of Education and Leadership. I've taught in our master’s instructional technology master's program, but I primarily work with doctoral students with the specializations of educational technology and learning instruction and innovation. I was a middle school and high school English and science teacher for 12 years, and I've taught another 12 years at the higher ed level. I am core faculty and currently chair of both PhD and EdD committees, and I have come to understand that one of my most important roles as a committee member is helping students with their writing.
Visual: The video ends with the closing title with the video series title, Faculty Voices: Walden Talks Writing and the Writing Center’s e-mail address: writingsupport@mail.waldenu.edu.
