The Walden Orientation and Welcome is a self-paced online course designed to help you feel confident starting your studies and create a foundation for success.
"This was a wonderful way for new students to get involved and acclimated to Walden Resources."
As a current active student at Walden University, you have access to Microsoft Office 365, which includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other programs. Follow these steps to download Office 365 and begin using it for your course assignments.
Welcome to the paper review service! Paper reviews are an optional, supplementary service available to Walden University students at no additional cost.
We’re here to assist Walden students in becoming better academic writers by providing online, asynchronous feedback in appointment-based paper reviews. Students who are working on discussion posts, course papers, and a doctoral premise or prospectus can make appointments for one-on-one paper reviews.
Before signing up for a paper review appointment, you need to register in myPASS (my Paper Appointment Scheduling System).
If you would like writing support for your proposal or final study, visit the Doctoral Capstone Form and Style site.
Walden University's Writing Center provides premium Grammarly accounts to all current Walden University students at no additional cost.
Grammarly is a third-party, automated grammar, proofreading, and writing revision tool for academic writing, and the company that created and maintains it is not affiliated with Walden University.
Grammarly will not fix your writing for you; it is up to you to incorporate Grammarly's feedback and decide what suggestions are most appropriate. For a more comprehensive paper review, consider making a paper review appointment with a writing instructor.
First-time Grammarly users should go to Grammarly's Create Your Account page to sign up for an account (Grammarly will accept @mail.waldenu.edu accounts as well as @waldenu.edu accounts).
Once you have created an account, you can log in at Grammarly's homepage or use the Grammarly App within Microsoft Word. Bookmark this login page for future access to the website.
