Peer mentors are current Walden students like you who understand the experience of learning online. They regularly host Peer Mentor Connect and Chat sessions and OASIS Live events, where you can ask questions, learn strategies, and share experiences.

The Peer Tutoring team is here to support you in building your skills and confidence in understanding course level concepts for quantitative and qualitative concepts. Read on below to find out how you can get immediate support or attend a live session.
Weekly group tutoring is available for RSCH 8210 and for RSCH 8260. Each week a tutor will walk the group through the current topic in the course, give a demonstration in SPSS, and share tips for completing the write-up. The weekly group tutoring schedule can be found on WCOnline.
Meet with a tutor one-on-one for your statistics or qualitative research course. These one-on-one schedules can be found on WCOnline.
Sign up with a tutor whose appointment focus topics include the topic you want to discuss. The appointment focus options appear when signing up for statistics tutoring.
Appointments are available to provide course related skill-level support. Tutoring staff can guide you in understanding pertinent academic topics and concepts to help you complete your course work and assignments independently.
Appointments are not meant to provide time to check course assignments for errors or edit course assignments before submission for grading. Tutoring staff will help students learn the concepts to build course related skills for academic success.
Come prepared with information about what you know and what you need help understanding. Have any software such as JASP, Excel, or SPSS open and ready to go.

Open appointments are shown with a white box and scheduled appointments are shown with a gold box. When attending your appointment, click the gold box for your appointment, and click Join Consultation when the appointment pop-up appears.
Tutoring staff wait for 15 minutes after the appointment start time for you to attend your session. If you do not show after 15 minutes, the tutor will log out of the session. Students who are more than 15 minutes late to an appointment will be marked as a "no show". Please refer to the "no show" policies below for more information.
