Video: Find Walden College of Education Dissertations

This short video will demonstrate how to locate PhD dissertations from the College of Education in the Walden dissertation database. From the library's homepage, click on the blue Publications button. Using the column on the left side of your screen, click on the Dissertations and Theses button. From the Find Dissertations and Theses box, select Dissertations and Theses at Walden University. You may be prompted to log in with your Walden ID and password, if you have not done so already.
In the first search box, type "education." Click on the Anywhere Except Full Text dropdown menu. Although ProQuest does not have a limiter for college, we can select Department. This will limit your results to only dissertations from the College of Education.
In the second search box, type a keyword for your topic. In this example, I will use "professional development." Change the publication date to the last two years. Hit the Search button, and you should get 202 results with this search.
Click on the Full text-PDF link under each result to access that dissertation. Look on the title page to confirm that this is a dissertation from the College of Education. That is how you can limit your search to dissertations from the College of Education in the Walden library dissertation database. Thank you for watching.
