Trade journals, which are industry-specific periodicals, are a good source for industry trends, news, and issues that won't be found in general-audience publications or peer-reviewed journals.

To find practical articles about a specific industry, you can limit your searches in the following databases:

• ABI/INFORM Complete (Trade Journals)
• Business Source Complete  (Trade Publications)

To search within the Trade Journals in ABI/INFORM Complete or the Trade Publications in Business Source Complete, follow the steps below:

1. Enter keywords that describe an industry in the search boxes on the Advanced Search page.
2. Scroll down and look for a Source Type or Publication Type menu.
3. Select Trade Journal or Trade Publication.
   
   ABI/INFORM Complete, check Trade Journals under Source Type.
   
    
   
   Business Source Complete, check Trade Publication under Publication Type.
   
   
    
4. Click Search.
