These four 30-minute videos review the fundamentals of doctoral-level research that were covered during Residency. The first video covers how to find a viable topic and ways to stay organized. The second video explores searching skills, how to find the best databases to conduct your searches, how to generate keywords to search comprehensively, and how to narrow your results to focused, relevant articles and resources you can use now. The third one discusses dissertations, why they are such a valuable tool, how to locate them by degree, topic, capstone, and chair, and tracking down resources from their reference list. Finally, the last video reviews theories and theorists, where to discover theories, how to track down seminal work, and how to find examples of research using specific theories.
