Anne studied International Relations and Spanish Literature as an undergraduate. She fell into a career in the airline industry not long after completing her BA, but after 9/11 she decided to go back to school. Since graduating with an MLIS from Dominican University she has worked in corporate and academic libraries, and for fun she volunteers at a public library. Although she loves to travel and has lived abroad in the past, Anne lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota not far from where she grew up.
Julie James Julie earned her Master of Science in Library and Information Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and has practiced librarianship in Illinois, Missouri, Virginia, and North Carolina, where she currently lives. Most recently, she spent twelve years working at a large academic medical center, supporting MD, PA, and CRNA students. She loves traveling and has visited 43 states and 12 countries on four continents. She also enjoys reading, cooking, gardening, and dogspotting.
Audrey has a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Arts with a minor in History from the University of Wyoming, and she received her Master of Library and Information Science with an emphasis in Special and Digital Libraries from St. Catherine University. Most recently, she worked at North Hennepin Community College in the library providing reference and managing circulation. She’s a Minnesotan at heart but loves to travel.
Amanda received her Master of Library and Information Science from The University of South Florida. Prior to her career in librarianship, Amanda worked as a Social Worker in therapeutic foster care and adoption. Her most recent position was Information Literacy Librarian at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina, which she left to help her husband run their vegetable and heritage pork farm. Although she loves farming, Amanda couldn’t wait to return to the library and work with students again. In her spare time, Amanda enjoys cooking Southern comfort food and spending time outdoors.
Andrea Lemieux received her Master of Information Resources and Library Science from the University of Arizona. Her professional experience includes working in public libraries in California and Colorado where she developed a passion for working closely with local communities, and more recently, in academia working with non-traditional students. When not at home in front of her computer with her hound dog Ginger snoring next to her, she can be found outside in the humid Florida weather on a road bike or mountain bike.
Hadeer has a BA in history from Hunter College, an MA in Higher Education and Student Affairs from New York University, and an MLS from Queens College. While finishing her Master's degrees, Hadeer worked full-time at New York University Libraries providing reference and instruction services to students. In her free time, Hadeer enjoys baking, writing, starting (but not finishing) new television shows, and reading an excessive number of books. She lives in New York City with her family and a very large cat.
