Audio: Ashley Beverly: Hi everybody my name is Ashley Beverly and I'm one of your doctoral peer mentors. I'm currently in the Social Work program here at Walden. Outside of being a student at Walden, I am a social worker for the Department of Veteran Affairs. I work in the mental health field with veterans on finding housing.
Some of my research interests are rural accessibility to mental health and health care. Also, the accessibility of services to veterans who reside in rural communities. And those are some of the research, research interests that I have.
Outside or outside of work some of the things that I enjoy is I love walking my dog, and I love spending time with my family, I love spending time with my friends, I love to sing, I karaoke often. I like to travel and I love hiking and things like that to stay healthy.
