Find Sample Business Plans

You may need to find resources about business plans and examples of business plans for assignments. Read on in this guide to explore three different ways to find business plan resources:

• The Business Plans Handbook Series contains examples of business plans
• Search for books on business plans in the Walden Library
• Search for articles on business planning in the Walden Library databases

The Business Plans Handbook Series contain sample business plans created by entrepreneurs seeking funding for small businesses.

The handbooks also include:

• business plan templates
• listings of organizations, agencies, and consultants
• glossary of small business terms
• bibliographies

Follow these steps to search the Business Plans Handbook Series by keyword, or browse individual volumes of the Handbooks:

1. From the Walden Library Home Page, select the Databases A-Z button.  
   
   
   
   
2. Choose Business Plans Handbooks under the B section.
3. If prompted, enter your Walden login information.
4. You will now see a list of volumes. Browse through the volumes by clicking a link under Select a Volume within this Series. Do a keyword search for a subject using the search bar in the Tools box on the right side of the page:  
   
   
   
   
5. For a keyword search, enter a type of business and click the search magnifying glass.
