Review the perspectives on the nature and functional structures of electronically recorded patient health data that were offered by the presenters in this week’s video. With these presenter viewpoints in mind, conduct a literature review in the Walden Library database to explore additional perspectives on the specifics of EHRs, EMRs, and PHRs, including the typical content and functionality of each.
1. Choose a database from the above suggestions.
2. Identify keywords and type them into the search box:
"Electronic Medical Records" OR "Electronic Health Records" OR "Electronic Patient Record"
Note: Each search may be run individually or simultaneously by typing the word OR in between each term. Use the quote marks to "glue" the words together in each term as an exact phrase.
3. Limit your searches to Peer Reviewed Journals and Full Text by selecting the check box limit in the Limit your results section.
