Research by Kuh and Tinto

For this part of your Course Project, you will look for research by Kuh and/or Tinto. 

Search the Walden Library and Internet for articles and other resources relevant to the problem your project is intended to address. Your literature review should include at least 10 research articles from peer-reviewed journals published within the last seven years. You can also include books, reports, and websites if they are relatively recent and published by reputable sources.

Sample article search

This sample search uses the Thoreau tool, which searches across multiple databases in the library.  You can access Thoreau from the Library home page.


1. Enter kuh, g* OR tinto, v* in the main search box on the Walden Library Home Page and enter.


NoteYou may have to login with your myWalden email and password.



2. From the results list you can limit to literature authored by Kuh or Tinto by selecting AU Author from the drop-down:




3. Click the Search button.


This will give you a list of published works authored by Kuh and Tinto.
