Student Research Support:
Research Design Alignment Appointments

Research Design Alignment

Conceptualizing your research plan can be challenging. As a student, you can schedule individual 30-minute research design alignment appointments with a ORDS methodologist. The methodologist will check if your problem, purpose, research questions, and analyses are aligned and will offer suggestions for your research study.

This service is most appropriate for students working on their premise, prospectus, or proposal. If you have questions concerning research (RSCH) course concepts or assignments, please contact the Academic Skills Center for course tutoring: https://academicguides.waldenu.edu/academic-skills-center/tutors

The Research Design Alignment Table must be completed and must be included when scheduling your appointment.  If you fail to attach the table, your appointment will be canceled.

Before requesting an appointment, students should review the above resource. Based upon your method, please choose the methodologist that best aligns to your current research and schedule a meeting time with him/her.
