Grad launches TransNewYork to Offer Resources to the LGBTQI+ Community
Dr. Genn Herley, a Walden PhD in Psychology graduate, on Spotlight On Walden. Dr. Herley launched TransNewYork to offer resources to the LGBTQI+ community and increase acceptance of transgender individuals. She credits Walden with helping her become a social change agent, citing how it wasn’t until she started at Walden that she was able to work with other like-minded individuals to further the social discourse and general good.
