Residencies align with critical courses at strategic points in your program and you will get the most out of your residency experiences and your online courses when you complete your residencies within the required program timeframe.
REGISTER TODAY! Registration for academic residencies is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Be sure to register as soon as registration opens for your desired location to reserve your seat, allow time to make travel and lodging arrangements, and plan your budget to use personal finances, loan and/or financial aid disbursements to cover the cost of residency fees and related travel expenses.
If you wish to register for a residency after it has reached its maximum capacity, you may request to be placed on a waitlist by contacting your Student Success Advisor with your student ID, name, and the location of the residency. You will be automatically registered if/when additional seating becomes available.
Plan your residencies several months in advance by watching the calendar for dates, locations and residency registration opening dates. If registration is not yet open for the residency you want to attend, register as soon as registration opens because seating is limited.
In most programs, you should register for and attend your first residency as soon as you begin your program.

Please review all information about the timing requirements for your program prior to registering. It is very important that you also know the term (quarter or semester) for which you are registering.

Contact the Customer Care Team from your myWalden portal by choosing the “Support” tab and clicking on “Click to Chat.”

If you are experiencing problems within your myWalden portal, contact Student Success Advising. For fastest assistance, please send your Student Success Advisor an email with the name and location of your preferred residency.
