What makes a transcript official?

For Incoming Walden Students

For a new students at Walden, transcripts must be sent from your previous university directly to Walden in order to be considered official. By coming directly from your alma mater to Walden, Walden can confirm that the content of the transcript is official and has not been altered in any way. For Current Walden Students

For current Walden students, requesting an official transcript (to be used in a scholarship application, to provide proof of your education to an employer or potential employer, etc.) is done by using the transcript request link in your myWalden portal. An official transcript is sent out by our Registrar to the indicated party, making it official. You can print off an unofficial copy of your transcript in your myWalden portal for your own purposes, if you'd like.
