Excelsior College Examinations (ECEs) and UExcel Exams

  • These exams are no longer being offered but Walden will still accept the exams listed below for credit.
  • Excelsior College Exams were offered by Excelsior College, NY and are formerly known as Regents College Exams or ACT/PEP Exams
  • UEXCEL exams tests knowledge of lower level college learning and are awarded as Excelsior College credit.
  • Students must achieve a minimum grade of C on an Excelsior exam to receive credit for a course.
  • Walden will award credit for one course per Excelsior/UExcel exam passed.
  • The cost of these exams is the responsibility of the student.
  • Additional information can be found on the Excelsior website.

 

NOTE: All exams noted below can also count towards lower level elective credits. No upper level elective credits will be awarded for these ECE exams.
