Application Submission Windows

Applications for field experience are accepted only within the following submission windows:

Summer Quarter

Opens December 16

Closes March 15

Fall Quarter

Opens March 16

Closes June 15

Winter Quarter

Opens June 16

Closes September 15

Spring Quarter

Opens September 16

Closes December 15

  • You are informed of application submission windows at numerous points throughout the program, so being unaware of the field experience application submission window is not a sufficient reason for granting an extension.
  • Submission of the application does not guarantee acceptance or approval of the application.

Note for School Counseling Students: You should apply as early as possible for field experiences that will begin in the fall quarter. The SOC-OFE will need to contact the site to establish an affiliation agreement, and additional information may be needed from the site throughout the application review process. This may be challenging with schools typically closed during the summer months.
