Resources to Improve Your Writing

Now that you have completed your Doctoral Writing Assessment requirements, the Office of Academic Support and Instructional Services offers you additional resources and support as you continue in your doctorate program at Walden. 

SKIL Graduate Writing III: Advanced Composition Skills

In this optional course, you can strengthen your scholarly writing skills, with a focus on synthesizing sources and organizing a small-scale literature review. You will also receive instruction in advanced scholarly voice and APA style nuances. This is a 1-1.5 credit, 8-week course, offered for free to students who have completed their doctoral writing assessment requirement. Please contact writingassessment@mail.waldenu.edu to be registered for the free offering of Graduate Writing III.
