1. Navigate to my.waldenu.edu and click login to begin.
2. Enter your myWalden e-mail address and password
3. Click Sign In to enter your myWalden portal.

1. Click the Go to Your Classroom for the course you wish to enter.
2. Welcome to your Classroom!
3. View announcements on the Course Home page. Scroll down to view all items on the Course Menu to the left.

Locating your Resources
Locate your Resources
1. Scroll down until you see the weeks or modules listed on the course menu on the left side of the page.
2. Click on week one or module one.
3. You are now accessing the resources and assignments for your first week of class. The menu at the top of the page allows you to navigate directly to the introduction, resources, discussion, and any other material. You can also scroll down on the page to access these items.
4. The introduction section will provide you with information about the focus for the week or module. You can also view learning objectives in this section.
5. Scroll down or click resources at the top of the page to access the assigned readings. The learning resources section will list all of the required and optional readings for the week or module.
6. Scroll down to access the discussion board assignment. Here is where you will access the discussion board assignment for your first week of class.

Submit your Discussion Post
1. Navigate to your classrooms week 1 or module 1 discussion.
2. Scroll down through the discussion prompt. The discussion prompt will include the topic for discussion as well as information on how to prepare and write your post.
3. Continue scrolling to locate the deadlines for your discussion post. You will find information here about when to post your initial discussion response as well as the expectations for the remainder of the week or module.
4. Continue scrolling to locate the discussion board rubric and the link to the discussion board forum. Below the discussion prompt, you will find a link to the rubric and the discussion board forum.
5. To post your discussion response click the link to the discussion board forum.
6. The discussion board forum will appear and you will see the discussion prompt again. Scroll down to post your response.
7. Click reply to post your discussion response.
8. Type your response into the text box provided. You can also copy and paste your response from another format such as a Word document.
9. Click Submit to post your discussion response.

Contact your Instructor
1. To contact your instructor, click the Contact the Instructor link from the menu on the course home page.
2. You will be brought to the Contact the Instructor discussion forum. Click Contact the Instructor again to access the forum.
3. Your instructor's information will be listed in the discussion forum. You can use the e-mail address and phone number and office hours to reach out to your instructor if you have a personal question.
4. If your question could benefit the entire course, click reply to post a response to the Contact your Instructor forum.
