Consistent use of typography also helps in establishing a brand. The typefaces chosen for Walden’s materials were selected for their readability and their display properties. The consistent use of these typefaces will establish a continuity of appearance that will help support the recognition of the Walden brand, while promoting a professional, cohesive look in all communications.

All text should use the font styling listed in the Font Guidelines below for tabs, headers, and body text. Most of this styling is already enforced and automatically applied to all content through a "stylesheet": code written in the Cascading Style Sheets language (or CSS) that defines the styles applied to content. The stylesheet will automatically apply the font family, style, and size. However, you will have to manually apply font styling to create sub-headers and sub-text in the body.  The "Font Family" and "Font Size" options in the guide box text editor (aka WYSIWYG) should not be used as these settings will be overridden by the stylesheet settings.

Font Guidelines:

Font-family: Trebuchet

Font-size: The guide box text editor will display font sizing in points; however, fonts must be expressed in relative sizing (em) in the css for accessibility and to support different sized devices.
