Meditrek, a product of HSoft Corporation, is a user-friendly online tool that will help students in Walden's Nursing programs apply for, track, and manage their practicum experience.
Meditrek will help you:
If you are in a Nursing program that has a practicum requirement, you will receive your login credentials via an e-mail from Meditrek (from the address support@meditrek.info). This e-mail will contain your password and directions for logging into Meditrek and is typically sent two quarters prior to beginning the practicum experience. If you've been sent the e-mail but are struggling to find it, you can search “MEDITREK” in your Walden Gmail account to locate the e-mail with your credentials
If you do not receive your Meditrek login information via your Walden e-mail, please contact the Field Experience Office directly at nursefieldtraining@waldenu.edu.
Note: Neither Student Success Advising nor Customer Care will be able to provide your credentials.
The field site administrator whom you indicate in your application will be e-mailed their credential information after you submit your practicum application in the system.
