PRAC 6840: Advanced Pediatric Nursing Practicum IV: Synthesis Care

  • Types of Patients: Ages birth to age 21
  • Types of Services: Primary care
  • Possible Preceptor Choices: Pediatrician, PNP, FNP specializing in pediatrics, family practice doctor that ONLY sees pediatric patients.
  • Possible Site Choices: Pediatric primary care offices, private practices, community clinics
  • Nonacceptable Sites: Specialty clinics, inpatient rotations, family practice offices, internal medicine offices
  • Nonacceptable Preceptors: Physician assistants
  • Requirements: 160 hours; minimum 160 encounters
