PRAC 6820: Advanced Pediatric Nursing Practicum II: Complex Care
- Types of Patients: Ages birth to age 21
- Types of Services: Primary care
- Possible Preceptor Choices: Pediatrician, PNP, FNP specializing in pediatrics, family practice doctor that ONLY sees pediatric patients.
- Possible Site Choices: Pediatric primary care offices, private practices, community clinics
- Nonacceptable Sites: Specialty clinics, inpatient rotations, family practice offices, internal medicine offices
- Nonacceptable Preceptors: Physician assistants
- Requirements: 160 hours; minimum 160 encounters
