Anders started at Walden in January of 2014. He enjoys the challenge of taking complex issues and boiling them down to their key elements to problem solve and find solutions that help our students get successfully placed in their practicum experience. He also enjoys researching and obtaining the context and scope of the affiliation agreements that we have with health systems and field sites. Outside of the office, he enjoys discovering and listening to new music as well as the classics—from classical and bluegrass, to metal and progressive rock. He also plays the trombone in a local orchestra and enjoys supporting local restaurants and businesses.

Background
Brenda started at Walden in August of 2019. Her role works to facilitate communication for the SON Office of Field Experience, support students and preceptors with Meditrek, and resolve other requests as they arise. Doing her best to be supportive to students and preceptors, restoring order, and having fantastic teammates, is what she enjoys most about being on the Field Experience team. Outside of Walden, Brenda loves hiking with her dog Rudder, going kayaking and biking, spending time with friends and family, baking, playing games, and hanging out with cows as much as possible.

In my free time I love singing (all types of music), being active on the tennis court, traveling with my family, collecting vinyl records and baking/cooking new recipes with my children.

Brandi joined Walden University in 2015 as the Director. Brandi has diverse experiences in higher education administration. The majority of her experiences has been in the area of enrollment management, operations, admissions, student success, marketing and advising. She enjoys creating opportunities in field experience to provide a system for students to be successful in field experience and to achieve their lifelong goals. Throughout her time at Walden, she has seen the program grow and change for the better and is excited about the future. Brandi lives in the Minneapolis area and enjoys all the recreational opportunities, cultural events and sporting events that Minnesota has to offer. Brandi is an avid kayaker, hiker, biker, skier, and any other activity that gets her outdoors.
