- BSN Practicum Manual This manual is for BSN students and students in the RN track for a MSN degree who need to take the undergraduate level courses. It provides students the information they need related to practicum policies and procedures.
- Specialty Programs Practicum Manual This manual is for MSN and Post-Masters Certificate students in the following specializations: Nursing Education, Nursing Executive, Nursing Informatics and Public Health Nursing. It provides students the information they need related to practicum policies and procedures.
- Nurse Practitioner Programs Practicum Manual This manual is for MSN, DNP & Post-Masters Certificate students in the following nurse practitioner specializations: Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Primary Care, and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Primary Care. Meditrek, a product of HSoft Corporation, is a user- friendly online tool that Walden uses to manage the practicum experience.
Preceptors will receive unique login information for Meditrek to sign off on time logs and complete evaluations. Time logs and evaluations must be completed in Meditrek by preceptors for students to receive a grade for the course. Make sure we have your correct email address.
