Scholarships

The John Edelman Scholars program offers two $10,000 scholarships annually to students studying for degrees toward a career in mental health counseling. Click on John Edelman Scholars Scholarship to learn more!

 

RTX SPY-6 Scholarship, named for the U.S. Navy’s SPY-6 Family of Radars, provides returning sailors an opportunity to achieve educational goals and position themselves for success in civilian professions. Two $10,000 scholarships will be awarded to sailors who pursue an undergraduate or graduate degree at an accredited university and demonstrate leadership in their local community. Student Veterans of RTX Patriot Scholarship America and RTX have partnered to provide two (2) $10,000 scholarships to student veterans demonstrating a commitment to and passion for their chosen field of study and demonstrated leadership and engagement within their community. The Patriot Scholarship is offered exclusively to U.S. Army veterans and is named after RTX’s Patriot Air and Missile Defense System. Here is the link: The Patriot Scholarship

 

The Vet Center Scholarship Program assists individuals pursuing accredited graduate degrees in the following programs:

Social Worker (MSW)

Psychologist (Doctoral Degree)

Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselors (LPMHC)

Marriage and Family Therapists (MFT)

VA will provide funding to cover up to two years of graduate studies for individuals pursuing these degrees and will then serve full-time for a period of six years at one of VA’s 300 Vet Centers across the country, specifically in underserved areas and in states with a per-capita population of more than 5% Veterans.  Here is the link:

Google SVA Scholarship

Investing in Student Veteran Innovation

As part of Google’s commitment to military veterans, the company partners with SVA each year to fund scholarships. The scholarship provides assistance to student veterans who are pursuing university degrees in the field of computer science in the U.S. Selected students will receive $10,000 for the upcoming school year.
