In light of the ongoing challenged presented by the COVID-19 crisis, no New Scholars Workshops have been scheduled for 2021. Please check back in the Spring for updates.
In the meantime, take advantage of other resources at the university to support your dissemination efforts, most of which appear on the ORDS site and are linked in the Doctoral Degree Coach. Also, check out.

The Walden University New Scholars Workshop (NSW) was created as a "next step" interactive seminar to support recent doctoral graduates' continued development as scholars and is a free experience provided by the Office of Research and Doctoral Services.
Topics include publishing capstone research, selecting the right journals and outlets for dissemination, preparing posters and professional conference presentations, and developing a plan to continue one's research beyond the doctoral degree. Lots of time for sharing and discussion is also provided.
To accommodate the needs of participants, the NSW is delivered in two formats.
