Search for Funding Opportunities by College
Funding opportunities in support of research are often sponsored by and/or publicized by professional associations. Below is a list of professional association websites, selected by the RSP, that have dedicated funding opportunity pages. In order to simplify the search process the professional associations are loosely grouped by field of interest and thus are aligned with Walden’s colleges/schools. The list provided below is intended to be a starting point for beginning the process of searching for research funding opportunities; by no means is it exhaustive or representative of the myriad of funding sources and resources that are available to researchers.
Please note that many of the professional associations listed below may have research funding opportunities that are interdisciplinary. For example, the American Public Health Association is listed under the College of Health Sciences and Public Policy but researchers in the Richard W. Riley College of Education and Human Sciences investigating a health-related topic may find a funding opportunity to support their research on the APHA website. Consequently, it is worthwhile to spend time perusing the funding opportunities of professional associations that are not listed under the college with which you are affiliated.
Once you locate a research funding opportunity you are interested in applying for, please contact the RSP (grants@mail.waldenu.edu) for assistance with determining eligibility and the alignment of the funding opportunity with your research goals. Additionally, the RSP offers support with grant proposal development and the grant submission process.
