Walden University is closely monitoring the coronavirus and its potential impact on our students, faculty and staff. We are following the daily and ongoing guidance and recommendations provided by the Centers for Disease Control on the status of the virus in the U.S. to ensure we make informed decisions that are right for our entire Walden community.
We want our extended Walden family to be healthy and safe – wherever they live or work.
As a reminder, symptoms of the virus are
- Fever
- Cough
- Difficulty breathing
To help prevent the spread of the coronavirus in your community, please be sure to
- Wash your hands regularly.
- Cover your mouth and nose with your elbow when you cough or sneeze.
- Avoid close contact with people who have respiratory symptoms such as coughing and sneezing
If you or a member of your family is sick, please avoid work or travel as a way to prevent spreading any illness to others and consider seeking out your health care provider’s advice.
Hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes are available for employee use at Walden office locations. As a precaution, employees should routinely bring their laptops home every evening.
We will continue to reach out to you with updates and additional information as it becomes available from the CDC.
