What are the Academic Requirements for PhiNu?
BSN need to have completed N 4000 upper 1/3 of class
RN-BSN-MSN need to have completed NURS5052 and 3.5 GPA
MSN/NP students need to have completed NURS6052 and 3.5 GPA
PhD students need to have completed their research courses NURS825 and, 8351 GPA 3.5
DNP students need to have completed NURS8210 and GPA 3.5
*Certificate students need to apply as a Nurse Leader.
How do I know if I am eligible for PhiNu?
We post this information in the course and send our invites to the eligible students
When are membership drives conducted each year?
Two times a year - students will be invited for acceptance if eligible
Is there a fee to join PhiNu?
National fee and local fee
National: Membership dues for the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) are comprised of international and chapter fees. As of 1 July 2017, the international dues are:
High Income: US $73.00 (non-refundable)
Middle Income: US $29.20 (non-refundable)
Low Income: US $14.60 (non-refundable)
Local: US $30 (non-refundable)
