You can limit your search in many of the Library's research databases to scholarly, peer-reviewed journals.
To start your search, first choose a database. Click Research by Subject on the main page. Choose a subject area link to explore databases in that subject area.
Search Tip: Some databases contain only peer-reviewed journals, while others have both peer-reviewed and non-peer-reviewed content. Learn about the peer review status of different databases.
Once you have logged in to the database, look for a peer review limiter option on the search page.
The peer review box will be in different places on the search page in the different databases. You may see it close to the search boxes, or you may need to scroll down the page a bit.
Some databases have it labeled as Peer Reviewed Scholarly Journals or Peer Reviewed or Peer Reviewed Journals.
