On a piece of paper or in another document, jot down the answers to these questions. Then, check your answers against ours.

Open the ProQuest Central database. Try a search on one of the theory terms you found and the term employees.

  • How many results come up in the search? How many of these are current, peer-reviewed articles?


 

Try this exercise with an article you have found with your own literature review. Skim the contents for theory or topical terms that fit your research area. Try combining these terms with your other topic keywords. Also consider searching in multiple databases.
