What are the Academic Requirements for Delta Mu Delta?

(1) Undergraduates and candidates for the baccalaureate degree who have completed three quarters or more of the work required for the degree with a cumulative grade point average 3.75 or better, and who are in the top 20 percent of their college class in cumulative average grades; OR

(2) Graduate students in a master’s degree program who have completed at least three-quarters of the work required for the master’s degree with a cumulative grade point average 3.75 or better, and who are in the top 20 percent of their college class in cumulative average grades; OR

(3) Doctoral students in a Ph.D. or D.B.A. program who have completed at least one-half of the course work required for the doctorate degree with a cumulative average grade record 3.75 or better, and who are in the top 20 percent of their college class in cumulative average grades.

The top 20 percent means the highest 20 percent of the respective group as defined in (1) through (3) above.

 

How do I know if I am eligible for Delta Mu Delta?

Twice per year, we run a report to determine eligibility and to invite eligible students.

When are membership drives conducted each year?

Typically January and June.

Is there a fee?

Yes, approximately $50 (non-refundable)  payable to directly to the national Delta Mu Delta chapter.
