Counselors for Social Justice: Home

Welcome

Welcome to the Counselors for Social Justice student organization!

Walden University's chapter of Counselors for Social Justice (CSJ Walden) is a proud extension of the national CSJ division of the American Counseling Association. The organization is deeply committed to confronting systems of oppression and uplifting the voices of those too often marginalized in our society. The Walden chapter is a student-led community that brings together future counselors, educators, and advocates who believe that counseling is not just about individual healing—it’s about collective liberation. They explore the intersections of race, gender, sexuality, ability, and class, and challenge members to grow into socially conscious practitioners who are ready to make meaningful change. Through virtual events, critical dialogues, and collaborative projects, they create space for learning, reflection, and action.
