The Davidson Family

Description:  The Davidson family attending counseling after a referral was suggested by Jerra Davidson’s (17) school counselor. The Davidson family consists of Jeff (46), Julie (44), Jaden (18), Jerra (17), and Jace (12). Jeff is a Sergeant Major in the US Army.  Jeff and Julie’s families are both on the West Coast of the US and the family is currently stationed in Virginia. Their oldest son Jaden recently started college at Texas A&M. Jerra is a junior in high school and has a boyfriend who is a senior at her high school. Jace is in middle school, is involved in soccer and youth group.  Jeff is preparing for his third deployment to Afghanistan in the last 3 years.  Julie works part time as a real-estate agent and is ready for Jeff to just get this next deployment “over and done with.” Julie and Jerra argue often.
