Technology Support: Office 365: Office 365 Applications

Application Overview

There are a number of applications in the Office 365 suite you may find useful.  It is probably most helpful to start with OneDrive, online Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. As you become comfortable with these applications, you may want to explore the other applications available to you. Keep in mind features are limited when using Office 365 applications versus the full Office 365 version.

The full desktop version of Office 2016 is available to all Walden students at no cost. As a reminder, you can only use Office 2016 on one computer, but the full version allows you utilize all features of the software. Using the full desktop version of Office 2016 is highly recommended as the features of the software will work best to complete your coursework or capstone project. For more details on Office 2016 please view the Customer Care website Office 365:Office 2016. If you decide to proceed with the installation process of Office 2016 please seek assistance from Microsoft Support.
