Technology Support: Uploading Documents into Taskstream

How to upload documents into Taskstream

The first step in submitting work to Taskstream is to select your DRF from the Taskstream homepage. Once you select your DRF, a new window will open.

Note: If no new window opens, please ensure that you have turned off your pop-up blocker. Taskstream will open new windows and you will need to ensure your browser settings allow pop-ups from the Taskstream site in order to use Taskstream.

When the new window loads, there will be a menu along the left-side of the website.

To submit your work, click on the name of the specific assignment/requirement in the left-side menu that you’d like to upload. Once the page loads, you can complete your submission by clicking on your preferred submission type from the menu at the bottom of the page.

If you are uploading a file such as a copy of your prospectus or course assignment, click on the Attachments button on the Add bar.

On the Add/Edit Attachments screen, select the Browse or Choose File button (the title of this button may vary depending on which browser you are using).

  • Navigate to the folder or location where the file is saved on your own computer.
  • Select the file you wish to upload.
  • Click the Add File button.

If you need to upload multiple documents, you may repeat the above steps for each file, up to 50MB worth, until all documents have been uploaded. When all documents have been uploaded, be sure to click the Save and Return button to save the work and return to the menu area.

When you are ready to submit your documents for review by your instructor or your doctoral capstone committee, click on the Submit Work button for the assignment. Depending on your program, you may have the option of adding additional comments for your reviewer, or you can skip this step.
