Dashboard - Global Navigation: Home

Click the Dashboard to view all courses you are enrolled in, as well as a list of "to do" items of your courses.

There are a few items to call out on the dashboard.

1. Global Navigation Menu: Use this menu to navigate through Canvas.
2. Course Card: Click on a course card to navigate into a course.
3. Settings (vertical ellipses): Click on the icon to allow you to change your Dashboard view. 
   • Card View (pictured above): Displays your courses as cards. Course Card colors are customizable using the three dot icon in the card. 
   • List View (pictured below): Displays a list of all upcoming tasks and events for all of your courses. This can help you keep up with your progress in your courses.
4. Coming Up and Recent Feedback:
   • Coming Up: This section displays upcoming due dates for assignments, quizzes, and other course activities.
   • Recent Feedback: This section displays recent feedback given on assignments, quizzes, and other graded course activities.
5. View Grades: Students who click this button to quickly navigate to recently graded materials. Faculty will see recent submissions here that need grading.
