Grades Earned
Your faculty instructor provides feedback for the grades you earn on individual assignments. Walden encourages students to read the feedback very carefully, applying any recommendations for strengthening a thesis, applying APA formatting, etc., to future assignments. The final grade for your course will be calculated based on the grades you earned throughout the term in accordance to the grading information outlined in your syllabus.
Please contact your faculty for any questions you may have about the grade you earned on an assignment or for a course.
Final Course Grades
You can access information about your grade within your classroom grade book, in addition to the Final Grades area of your portal.
1. To access the Final Grades section, log into your myWalden portal.
2. Once logged into your portal, click on the ME tab in the upper-right corner of the page.
3. On the ME tab menu, select the My Education section. At My Education, scroll down and click on the link to View Final Grades on the left-side of the page.
4. A new page will load. From the drop-down menu on this new page, select the term in which your course took place and hit Submit. The following page will include any final grades recorded for that term.
Please note: Faculty typically have one week following the end of a course to enter in final grades. Please contact your Student Success Advisor for assistance if it has been longer than that and you still haven’t received a final grade.
