Dainelle Clark, MS

About Me

Current Walden Program: Doctor of Public Health (DrPH)

Education: Master Certification in Project Management, MS in Biomedical Science, concentration in Regulatory Compliance, BA in Biology, Minor in Chemistry

Location: Maryland: (Eastern Time Zone)

Research Interests: quality of life, health disparities, mental health in the elderly population

Hobbies and Interests: traveling, spending time with family and friends, and serving my community through community service. My guilty pleasures are watching reality shows like Marriage at First Sight, Amazing Race, and romantic shows on the Hallmark channel.

 

My Advice for a new Walden student:


"Congratulations! You have taken steps forward to become a better you. It may feel a little overwhelming sometimes and you may even question the validity of your dreams.
Stand on the promises of your future and find your footing to establish your balance."

My Doctoral Journey

Why did you choose Walden University? 

I choose Walden because it offered the degree program of my interest and the level of engagement provided by the recruiting staff.  

What have you learned about yourself so far in your doctoral journey? 

I learned that my "why" is the driving force that keeps me on my journey.

My Walden Residencies

Where did you attend your first residency?

My first residency was in Atlanta, Georgia during February 2018.

What did you find most valuable about residency?

The most valuable take away from my residency was identifying and creating a peer support team that would move with me along my journey at Walden.

How did you network at your residency? 

I mostly network with my cohort and assigned professors.
