We recommend that our students and alumni actively engage in meeting their career goals through taking proactive steps to strengthen their academic and experiential qualifications and build their professional networks. We often assign “homework” between advising appointments as career progression calls for proactive steps. We expect that our students and alumni act in accordance with the Walden University Student Code of Conduct in advising appointments and all other interactions.
Finally, we ask that students and alumni report back to us when they have a “success story” to share. With their permission, we will print the story on our blog. Sharing these “best practices” regarding career successes benefits all our students and alumni and promotes Walden’s mission of positive social change.
