About Zin: My name is Zin Htway and I completed a PhD from Walden University in December 2014. The course of study was Public Health, Epidemiology. I hold an MBA Healthcare Management from Western Governor’s University and an Undergraduate degree in Clinical Science, Cytotechnology from California State University Dominguez Hills. My background is in Pathology and Cytopathology. I am currently the Supervisor and Operations Manager of an Anatomic Pathology laboratory, and Hazmat Safety Officer at a local hospital. Also, I am a part-time lecturer at California State University Channel Islands in the Department of Biology/Natural Sciences. Currently, I reside on the West coast of the United States with my wife and our three children.

About Sarah: My passions are mathematics, statistics, technology, and education. Statistics and quantitative methods are my specialties!  I taught at the University College of the Cayman Islands in 2004.  Now at the College of the North Atlantic in Qatar, I have taught a wide array of math courses here over the past 10 years.  I have worked in Walden’s Academic Skills Center since 2013. I have a B.Math from the University of Waterloo, MEd from Brock University, and an EdD from Walden University. Getting my first degree in the 1970s and my last in 2016 makes me the poster child for lifelong learning and education!

About Tara: I am currently in my dissertation phase at Walden University in the PhD Human Services program. About Michael: I earned a BS in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico and a MS from Walden University. I currently work in a hospital using statistics, SPSS, and Microsoft Excel with the aim to improve the quality and safety of the services offered to our patients. I enjoy helping other students to overcome difficulties they have with certain statistical problems. My hobbies are playing the trombone, going to the gym, and traveling.

About Curtis: I am currently working on my doctoral dissertation which is a quantitative experimental design. My dissertation tests whether social identity, when made salient, reduces an individual’s subjective evaluation of emotional and social loneliness. I love the scientific aspects of psychology including research design, analysis, statistics, and the excitement of the research process. I have spent the last six years working at the community college level teaching courses in psychological sciences including research methods. In my personal life, I like to spend time with my two adult children and my granddaughter.
